2015-16 WI-UM Key Club District Convention: March 11-13, 2016
Western Kenosha Kiwanis members Sharon Krewson, Melissa Loebach and John Collins ring the bells for the Salvation Army. They were joined by a number of club members and Key Club members who helped at Steinbrink’s Piggy Wiggly in Kenosha (December 14, 2019).
Members of Kenosha’s Western Kiwanis packed over 209 holiday food baskets to area needy (December 19, 2019).
Congratulations to Western Kiwanis Treasurer Dennis Mattioli on having a Kiwanis banner patch affixed to the club banner. Nice honor for Dennis (January 9, 2020).
Kenosha's Western Kiwanis Trip to Ireland (November 2019).
Western Kenosha Kiwanis officers, Chuck Gierl, Phil Wade and John Collins presented iPads to 20 Kenosha area special needs children at a recent ceremony at Lance Junior High School. This makes a total of 50 iPads Western Kiwanis has presented to local kids. Thanks to Jenny Schmidt and other KUSD staff for coordinating this event (January 26, 2020).
Last week Western Kiwanis Treasurer Chuck Gierl and President John Colins delivered a check for $5,000 to the Shalom Center to help fund the Meals that Matter program which provides food to needy people in Kenosha. Program and Operations Director Lisa Sanders accepted on behalf of Shalom. These monies were made possible by our aggressive fundraising program in 2019, especially Taste of Wisconsin.
A similar check was delivered to the Salvation Army in Kenosha to help that organization provide for the needy in our community.
